Just a pity I (and others) couldn't see it as a result of the M62 being closed due to some inconsiderate sod being unable to decide whether to top himself or not. By the time the polce had got him down and the road was open it was too late to set off for the 8pm ko.

Talking of players travelling to games separately the story went that when John Monie was at Wigan and Hanley was at Wigan too, Hanley actually lived in Headingley. When Wigan played Leeds at Headingley Monie insisted that Hanley drove all the way to Wigan to catch the bus with the other Wigan players back to Headingley for the game! Correct me if I am wrong.

Anyway well done Wakey on bringing some much needed cheer back into the camp!
