Quote: knotlaknight "If Jk was to quit as your coach im pretty sure that terms in his contract would prevent him from joining any other club as an employee in the same position ( position held ) as stated on his contract without the new employers optaining the permision from his previous employees.
But a differant club could offer him a Position as long as its differant to the previous contract he has defaulted from and no compensation would after be offered
ie from Head coach or coach to technical support or player personnal advisor or something daft like that. Pretty much like the scenario at warrington last year with smith.'"
Brough had a contract with Wakefield but he ended up at Huddersfield , contracts aren't usually worth the paper there are written on . It's more about the honour of the people who commit to them.
we need to hang on to John for the clubs sake, if he went, realistically, who could we get in ?, who is available ? who would come to trinity ? certainly not a Tony Smith
