| I know after a few bad results there is always going to be negativity, and rightly so in many cases (especially after the lack of effort/cohesion last week against Crusaders), however we have to remember who we are, where we have been and where we have got to!
I'm 27 and have supported Trinity ever since i can remember (and by remember, i mean remember anything!), the greatest memories of Wakefields success are in the Yorkshire Cup, being competitive against the Ausies, the odd win against Leeds (Michael Jackson days...) beating Featherstone to get promotion into superleague, the numerous last day survival games (esp vs Cas), Hull in the playoffs (and Wigan.. where we should have won), and the Challenge Cup semi against Hull.
In all those years (and i know its not many compared to some), i have never seen a Wakefield side maintain a position in the upper echelons of the league. That is, until now! We have to keep a bit of perspective on all that is going on. Tough times have been had over the last few years with the tragic deaths of Adam and Leon, we have come through those, and with the player losses we have had this season, obviously not so tragic, but just as detrimental to the team, we will go on!
I know people are feeling disillusioned at the moment (myself included at times), however, we need to get behind the team once again and give them our support! ..I'm going down to London tomorrow, hoping, not expecting, but whatever the result i'll still be supporting Trinity on Monday morning as will all of us... so quit all the moaning and negativity and get behind the boys!
...a few beers may have helped me write this, but i know its all true!
COME ON THE TRIN!
