On the whole, the ref had a decent game however, Id like to drawn upon an incident where brent webb said something out of turn to the touch judge in the second half on the east stand side which was sufficient for the the referee to award a penalty with no further action.

Last season in more or less the exact same place, danny brough said something out of turn to a touch judge and mr child saw fit to send brough off.

what a contrast...It warranted a red card for a wakefield player but only a penalty for a leeds player. regardless of what was said by both players, abuse of match officals is clearly not tollerated so c'mon Mr cummins, lets have some consistency!

there could have been a vast difference in the severity of the dissent from the Leeds player as opposed to what Brough did, of which you certainly won't be party to, we won't know what sort of dissent it was would we?

From memory Brough was certain to get sent off that day and was probably on his second warning for dissent at the time.

not necessarily, I like to think I'm pretty fair when assessing the referee's performances whether we win or lose.

For example, Mr Bentham got an absolute slating from me after his performance in the Catalan game even though we won, I've also praised the performance of referee's when we've lost.

It was indeed kevin sinfields least effective refereeing performance for quite sometime!! He may be demoted to reffing in lower league games after such a sub standard effort!!!!!
