I just don't think it will prompt enough to buy season tickets or buy in advance, and then it will put off the occasional fan, and those are the ones we should be targetting to turn them into regular fans. I would have preferred the club to have taken a gamble and be imaginative on the concessionary prices. If we increase by 10% but cause the crowd to fall by 10%, and on our average that wouldn't be difficult, we have gone backwards come franchise time and lost money on shirts and food.
I accept it's tricky for the club though, as we've got to pay for the players, and we can't risk financial instability.
