Sounds good though I doubt we will get Bridge.

Yeh!
That's what I would do.
I'd guess it's because whilst he's often looked good and enthusiastic, he's never quite shown enough in any one position. He ended last year well, but started this one poorly with quite a few mistakes. I wouldn't hold his performances on the wing against him too much as I think it showed it definitely isn't his position, or at least he'd need to learn to defend as part of the system there. As for at 6, not quite sure he's the pace or handling, but he's shown enough work around there to suggest it is the psoition he should try to work on.

| I'd agree with this. Grix is in the unfortunate position of not really having a defined role - he's not a winger (although he does get a few tries), he's not our best option at full back (Blaymire is), he doesnt appear to have the creativity to play Stand Off regular and he wears No13 but isnt a lock.
I like the lad and would love him to be here next year - just dont know where.
Having said all this, good utility men are a godsend during a long season.

| I'll probably get some flack for this but i chose the option for scanning the NRL and feeder comps...
Reasons being...
The club has done well on the field this year and could still finish 4th - in a 14 team league, that would be fantastic for the club.
To sustain and improve on such, is there a young english stand off, who is AVAILABLE, and realistically good enough to play week in week out and sustain and improve on potentially a top 4 place?
A realists answer would be no....
Grix cannot get a regular spot for us at 6 and he has had plenty of chances, and it looks like he is huddersfield bound....
Brough, is certainly good enough, but his future at the club beyond this season is still in doubt.
Obst, is a good player, but my personal view is that he is a better number 9 than 6. Id keep obst, but spell him at 9 with newton.
Southernwood....is he capable of outplaying the likes of burrow, pryce and dobson week in week out?!
