Not much that can be said about this one , a first half to forget , a second half not much better....
BUT a win which is more important than anything with the position we are in.

Still can't believe we lost that game, but fair play to your guys for fighting right up to the last minute.

Fair play to Barrow Ricardo , they appeared ro want it more than KEIGHLEY most of the match
and heads never went down as we clawed our way back.

I thought we were poor first half. Defensively we looked pretty sound for the first 15 minutes or so but we gave away possession far too easily and at times forced a pass that wasn't on. You're never going to win a game when we hand possession to a side whether it's Fev or Barrow.

I've not seen much of Barrow so it would be nice to see what their fans thought of their performance today. In the second half we started slow and played one out rugby for a time. We looked nervous and had their try not been chalked off in the last quarter I thought we were out of it. However, we carved out the scores and it became an edge of your seat affair. We got the try in the end and IMO it see-sawed a bit in the last 5/10 minutes and a try for either team looked on the cards. Fortunately, we got it and took home the much needed points.

Credit to the Barrow fans for the noise and atmosphere created. It hurts to loose on the final hooter and wish you well for the remainder of the season, albeit not the return fixture!

Big raps to Gav Duffy. In the second half he took the game by the scruff of the neck and gave his heart and sole to the cause. His spirit and effort lifted the lads who looked otherwise a bit flat until our second try of the game.

It was obstruction that caused the try to be disallowed.

Must be said that when Buster is on the pitch we are a team with more spirit. He played 80 minutes against York and see how we played in that match! Best of luck to Barrow for the rest of the season.

So why not play Buster for the full game? This is essential now as Jermaine is no-longer available.

I don't think Smith is the impact player that Killer was, or indeed a hooker. If Buster has the fitness levels then 80 mins is an option. I guess that will depend largely on the game plan and whether Busters fatigue would have the adverse effect.
