Owen has got to be the worst full back I have ever seen play for Keighley. If we keep playing these DRs then that's it for me. I,m disgusted at Duffy being dropped for someone who can't ne bothered, just to help Castleford.

Good fan supporting team?

Because if you believe many on this forum, the definition of being a good fan, true fan or supporter means that you must be a subordinate to the club and the cliques at the heart of it and therefore abide by whatever decision they make, without showing any dissent, even if it goes completely against your principles.

I consider Obeone a good mate of mine, we've been going to games together for a fair while. I can honestly say when he's there he makes 10 times more noise than 90% of the fans at games, likes a few beers in the bar and is an all round decent bloke. He's the kind of guy the club should be wanting to keep coming down to the place every fortnight but he's alienated to the point that he doesn't want to come anymore. It's a real sorry state of affairs and the club doesn't seem bothered to ask the question, why?

Obeone isn't the only one I know many that have gone to the games since the 80's and 90's and bought season tickets every year but this year they haven't bought one, struggling to bring them selfs to the ground and therefore are just going to choose the games they want to come to and this has nothing to do with the recession its much clearer than that its everything that Cougars now stands for. Do the club really care ?????

So lets all stop going down and supporting the team.
If you support your team it should be through thick and thin.
We are just like any other club in the championship leagues, no money and strugling for supporters.
Without the board we dont have a club.
If i was a director down there and was getting all this abuse id give you what you wanted and walk away.
Put yourself in there position "what would you do different"
Dont forget they arnt getting paid there just trying to dowhats best for the club.
All the people who knock the club why dont you become a director.

I've never gone for the "good fan" line but I will pull you up on one point - there is a massive difference between adding perspective to a debate than being "subordinate" or part of a "clique". If fans come on here venting their spleen about what's wrong with the club, the coach, player X, or whatever then there will always be someone with an opposing view.

If a person cannot [itruly[/i look at an argument from both sides and sometimes admit they might have the wrong end of the stick then they are lost. Incidentally, that's just a generalisation and not aimed at you Obeone or anyone else.
