Unfortunately couldn't make the game tonight due to commitments but honestly I'm glad I didn't go and I never thought I would say that. I was kept up to date by friends at the game. What can we say about that, to lose to swinton is one thing but to lose to swinton in our back yard is another. Really looking forward to hearing everyone's honest opinions on this game but I'm afraid I'm sticking to what I have continued to say "WE ARE IN TROUBLE" some might think I am enjoying saying this but believe me I'm not and to be honest I'm gutted about everything the club represents at the minute on and off the field.

Look at the next 2-3 fixtures, they can only be loses and I don't think we will get bonus points from these games. Yes it's early and we are no where near half way through the season but get ready for a battle of relegation. Don't forget its 2 that gets relegated this season. Maybe I'm going off on one again I don't know but I just can't see or I haven't had anything to cheer about.

I thought we defended ok in the first half and had some good possession... we just couldn't capitalise enough. Attempts to score were largely pushing over the line with no grubbers for players to jump onto.
When Swinton went in at half time with momentum and Keighley never seemed to look much like getting it back.

Annoyed by a Swinton supporter insulting a young Keighley supporter at the ground. Poor alcohol fuelled behaviour in my opinion.

Yet another drubbing , some slight sign of improvement in the first half but then the heads
went down on returning for the 2nd half .
Barnett fumbled 3 times , what a liability , Swinton intercepted 4 times in the eighty
minutes and we dropped the ball time and time again.
The defence gave in after about 10 mins with gaps in the line for Swinton to take advantage
of time and time again.
No sparkle , no commitment no result, if I am correct , and Barrow win tomorrow we will
bottom of the table.

I am afraid to say the day of reckoning has arrived for Marchy.
After yet another unacceptable performance it’s time to act before it’s too late to salvage our status as a Championship club. I have seen enough over 8 games with only one win to know that the promised new style of attacking rugby is nothing more than a pipe dream. The players are giving 100% but are a shadow of their former selves…totally disorganised and playing as individuals.
Tonight’s game against Swinton could have ended up far more embarrassing than the score suggested. We cannot continue on this path, the Cougars very survival is at stake.

This was my first game this season and what and eye opener!
We look to have no defensive structure, no cohesion in attack and look void of any spirit. I don't expect us to win every game and will happily accept a defeat when the lads have given 100%. You can forgive errors when the commitment is there, but a few of the players need to have a look at themselves. How many times did we have 3 men in the tackle, but the player got the ball out.

We can't exclusively blame the coach and the players have to take their fair share of the blame, but I'm sorry peeps, something has to give. I know we are only 4 games in, but from what I have seen tonight, from Micky's videos and the pre-season games I think we need a change. Marchy may be a nice bloke but I fear if we let this situation continue we could in trouble.

Last years team would have put 50 points past Swinton tonight. IMO Swinton were not good and were there for the taking.

Swinton are not a bad side , dont be to downhearted , you can measure your gameplay after this Sundays game against the Centurions , we have not hit full throttle yet .

totally disorganised and Danny Jones at full back??? what is happening poor game all round - Marchy you need to get the team organised and doing what you tell them to do - they are just doing what they want GET IT ORGANISED or we are going down
