I believe Fax and Fev are against it and Sheffield have gone in to partnership with rlLimouxrl which to be honest is a far better way of developing the game as a whole than the RFL's plan.

I find it very sad that the Championship really is becoming a reserve League and the Clubs dont seem to care.
As far as I am aware we now have Leeds Reserves, Bradford Reserves, Hull Reserves, St Helens Reserves, London Reserves, Huddersfield Reserves all playing in the Championship.
My understanding is that these players might play one week, miss a week and then play the next.
This will make the competition (and results) very inconsistant.
But hey who cares a along as Super League reserves get a game.
Rugby League has just taken a massive backward step again.
Again no consideration is given to the fans.
How will this affect the integrity of the Challenge Cup, for example if St Helens are draw against St Helens Reserves (Rochdale).
Will St Helens take their players and coach back
Super League is looking after Super League and the Championship is rolling over and letting its belly be tickled.

Keighley Cougars must remain a 100% independent Rugby League club.

The only 'tie-up' the fans could live with would be one with an overseas club whether it be Australia, NZ, France - or even another sport - there's plenty to be gained regarding how to do things off the pitch from a tie-up with any top sports club. I wouldn't be against some sort of link up with a Welsh RU club either. Whatever Cougars do, they thrive when they do it different.

well i can assure you we (leigh) are against it as well think theres only hull kr and castleford tigers who havent tied up with anybody st helens have agreements with 2 clubs whitehaven and rochdale but i just think it shows who genuinley has abition to get into super league and its further proof that they should split the super league into a 2 ten team competition coz you would have the 5 chamionship clubs that are left plus another french team and then you would have widnes, salford, castleford and london all making up sl 2 .
