I love going to The Shay, I've seen seen some great games there. Tonight no exception. Pride had vanished and it returned tonight, we were 7-1 outsiders in this game. I thought we were for a hammering and have come away with a feeling comparable to winning.

All I could ask for was to end on a high, they did exactly that with pride.

You can stick super league up your ar*e, cougars till I die.

I have to agree, I feel gutted but so proud. No cougar fan could of asked anymore of what our players did tonight. There was not one player on that field for Keighley that didn't put there heart, soul and body on the line tonight for our club. We were so close but unfortunately these things happen and sometimes they either go your way or don't. It was nice to walk away from the ground hearing fax fans talking about how good we were tonight and what a game it was.

My adrenalin is still going, so so proud of our boys and if we had lost like that every week then I would be happy if that makes sense lol. Can't believe it's the end of the season for us, I have enjoyed this year in the championship and for me it has been better than the super league this year and I follow my other team every week in super league but the standard in the championship is getting better and faster every year.

So onwards and upwards, already looking forward to next year. Fantastic first season back in the championship, well done to all players and playing staff.

Well played Keighley, from 1-17 you were excellent tonight, you didn't deserve to lose in the last minute like that. For most of the season you have had one of the best defensive records in the division, tonight showed why, your scrambling defence was brilliant.

Sometimes you don't necessarily get what you deserve in this game.

Everyman left everything on the field, they should all be proud of themselves. Special mention to JD and Shickell who I thought were superb tonight. It was also great to see our half backs taking on the line regularly. If I was nitpicking I'd say a couple of times defenders made poor reads which lead to tries.

Ultimately Fax found a way to win which is what good sides do. I thought Barlow and Aizue caused all sorts of problems for us and those 2 and our high penalty count was what did for us.

The ref had an average game, compared to the dross we've seen all season. To be fair we probably should have been down to 12 men after giving away 3 or 4 consecutive penalties for high shots before Barlow crossed for them in the 2nd half.

I thought we would take a bit of a pasting last night and was a bit apprehensive about it but what an effort from our lads all over the field. Really, really proud of them, they gave everything they had and, as a fan, you can't ask for more. Halifax are a very good team and we pushed them all the way; you could feel their relief at the end of the game. For all those from both Halifax and Keighley who decided not to bother going (poor attendance), you missed a cracker!

Its going to be a difficult act to follow

Well after watching the Cougars game against fax for the first time ont t.v. The players all played brill. JD deserved MOM . HoweverI have to say i dont have a clue what the fans are on about the ref. The ref was poor for both sides and if Cougars would have kept their mouths shut and tackles down we would have no doubt of won. As for the last try there was no forward pass. A real shame!
