Said there was no intention from the tacklers ... mon derriere ... he should be forced to sit and look at Mickys stills from the video over and over ..if Korki hadn't taken the weight onto his arm we could have been looking at a life changing injury ...

Hold your hand up and take some responsibility for your teams actions , instead of running to the press like a spoilt little brat when things don't go your way ... PATHETIC

The guys playing out there aren't robots , they are someones partner , father , son etc .. that tackle had the potential to be as serious as that on Tangi Ropati if not worse ....hold your hand up Aston and accept they were in the wrong

I used to think Mark Aston was a good coach and a credit to rugby league until I saw Sheffield play last week and I changed my mind , Three words summed up their play..... Dirty , Dirty and Dirty. I know the players are resposible for their actions on the field but the coach has to be accountable too.
The spear tackle on Korkidas was horrendous , it was also intentional.....look at the video and the stills , both players grabbed him and turned him over. Fact.
Having suffered a Broken neck nearly 4 years ago I can say it is a life changing event and I was very very lucky....I can still walk albeit with a stick and not very far. So , R.F.L Make spear tackles an instant red card and match bans to follow , NO excuses , It is potentially a Life and career ending move and should be dealt with accordingly.
And to Mr Aston , Shut up , Stop moaning and watch the video then look at the stills and realise you should have kept your mouth shut.

And what happened to the Ref who was on the spot and did nothing ?

To be honest , I think they should have got more than a 2 match ban , doesn't seem much for what could be such devastating tackle.

Let's face it.

The RFL couldn't care less when it comes to the Championship. All thet they're concerned with is 'Dooper League'.

They, and their employees who [lest we forget], are tasked [supposedly] with actually PROTECTING the participants of this brilliant game BUT don't even take any concern about the potential injuries that could be caused y such (ILLEGAL?)] tackles, YET the offenders are given a 'golden handshake' because 'THEY ADMITTED THEIR OFFENCE'. as this decision clearly illustrates!

Sorry but the administrators of the 'game' [sizeSTINK[/size as far as I am concerned.
