| So, we've had all the pre-season games and 4 NRC games. It's a tough one for JD to pick the 17 on Sunday. Who do you think. I'm going for;
1. Moss
2. Haythornthwaite
3. Paratta.
4. JD
5. Semi
6. Obst
7. D. Jones
8. Korky
9. Buster
10. Shick.
11. Sheriffe
12. Jones
13. Coleman
Subs;
Normington
Cherryholme
Killer
Rawlins
I think we need a strong threequarters given the speed and size of Feav's backline. I think with Gav and especially Barnett we may get a bit exposed. I'd play JD at centre as I think he's just a bit more solid in defence than Jake who could also be used as a forward option from the bench if required. Coleman certainly deserves a shot and appears to me to have worked on his defence of late. Sheriffe has impressed since his debut against Fax on Boxing. His tacking is ferocious which we will need in abundance if we stand any chance.
That being said, Feav were turned over against Batley yesterday and you never know.

| from the RFL's website, it would appear that the next meeting is todayTues 6th March L Hull R Bridge J Wells'"
However, it continuesComposition and Process
The decision on whether a player should be charged with misconduct is made by the Match Review Panel (the “Panel”) ......
The Panel is made up of the Compliance Manager (who chairs the Panel) and usually 3 side members drawn from people with appropriate expertise (such as former players, referees and coaches) ........
In relation to each round of Championship Matches, Northern Rail Cup Matches or Challenge Cup Matches solely involving Championship teams, the Panel meet on the Thursday following the Round in question and consider any incidents that have been reported by Match Officials or otherwise brought to the attention of the Panel ...........'"
but not for Championship Clubs, when it will be Thursday, so we'll ahve to 'wait and see'.
So we can logon to the Rfl's website on Thursday evening, with interest, to see the outcome following the recommendations atrl]www.therfl.co.uk/disciplinary?playerON/68/12 Michael Haley (NFA - 1 match); ON/69/12 Stuart Dickens (2-3 matches); ON/70/12 Andy Bostock (1-2 matches)rl]
Whatever the outcome, it should be an interesting game, especially as DP never played his 'true value' (estimated by his then Director - Hetherington, of £106K) for the Cougars. His 'heart' never seemed to be in Keighley in those days. Let's hope that we can prove the potential that we have under an adopted 'Keighlian' with JD on Sunday!

| Sorry, but I must disagree and feel that our best line-up for Sunday would be:
1. Haythornthwaite
2. Duffy
3. Paratta.
4. Normington
5. Semi
6. Jones
7. Obst
8. Korky
9. Buster
10. Shick
11. Sheriffe
12. Jones
13. JD
Subs:
Coleman
Cherryholme
Killer/March
Purseglove
We need a mix of both forwards and backs to come into play wehn they are required and I believe that Rawlins is far too lightweight and fails to make much progress when he's on the pitch, compared with other props. He's all arms and legs. Just look what our 'first choice' forwards did to Rochdale! They tore them apart and they should have done the same on Sunday (had they all been playing).
Against Featherstone, we need JD on the field from the start and keep our other first-team squad-members in reserve to deploy as and when required. I feel that we missed Jermaine on Sunday, as well as other key players, but we won and JD must know what his starting line-up will be now. It was good that he could play some 'fringe players' to see how they performed and still win.
Let's hope that the other squad members don't 'take their bat home' and continue to play for a place in the first team squad.
Looking forward to a great game of rugby league on Sunday! Let's hope that the fans get down to support the Cougars!

Everyone has a different opinion and I think this the hard bit about JD's job. I'm sure he will probably have a different opinion to you and I. I agree we need JD on the pitch though. Let's just hope he gets more protection from the officials than he has in recent weeks against Oldham and Batley. IMO he is targeted by the opposition.

| It's going to be very difficult for JD to pick a best thirteen especially in the forwards as we have been good in the last two games, though I thought we dominated much more against Rochdale and looked sharper in the backs. I suppose a lot will depend on the weather and Featherstones strengths an weaknesses ( If they have any). For me I would pick the following.
1) Craig Moss
2) James Haythornthwaite
3) Matt Parata
4) Danny Lawton
5) Semi Tadulala
6) Sam Obst
7) Danny Jones
Andy Schickell
9) James Feather
10) Michael Korkidas
11) Richard Jones
12) Ollie Purseglove
13) JD
14) Jy-Mel Coleman
15) Jamaine Wray/Chris Clough/Paul March
16) Jode Sherrife
17) Neil Cherryholme
