It will be a tough day for the Cougars, but given home advantage and Worky's game with Haven on Friday I think the Cougars could get a result today. Cougars by 8 for me.

A great game today, top marks for our defence, we held them well bar the odd darting run. Can't believe the double kick, side to side try was dissallowed, pure entertainment.

Referee was a disgrace today.

First Workington try was the most blatently obvious obstruction I've ever seen.

Their second could have been disallowed for a knock on or obstruction.

The 2 kick try was disallowed even though it was obvious that Danny Lawton waited for everyone to be onside before he put the second kick in.

The Workington fans didn't seem to be happy with him either. I thought their sinbinning looked pretty harsh.

That said it shouldn't take away from the perfomance today. Although we were erratic at times, I thought we played really well, especially in defence. Lawton deserved his man of the match award. Most of all it was entertaining.

I disagree the forwards were more impressive and Helliwell showed some nice touches.

Really enjoyable game, good to see we have been working on the "edge" defence. It was important that we take advantage of their Friday night game and take the win plus denying them their bonus point.

Our "disallowed" try was a work of art, I actually thought he waited to keep himself onside, but it must have been tight.

The Worky fans were complaining about the ref, but I thought he was the same for both sides. One thing is for certain, they will be a different prospect at home.

Good performance from the lads again. A noted improvement in defence. A couple of what appeared on face value to be wayward passes from JD. This appears to be a recurring theme recently, but on reflection I can only presume he is expecting the backs to come on to them at more pace. Some have interception written all over them though. I expected us to run away with them game in the last quarter, but the ref halted that with some dubious decisions. Good tactics early on to test the stamina of town. Will be a different prospect at their place. What's the story with Killer? According to Nigel's tv debut he was not on the injury list at the time of filming....................

Don't the Co-operative pay the clubs for the Kids Under 16 tickets as it is part of their "get people active" project. I don't think clubs are out of pocket with these deals.
