Turley's the ref we had at the Fax game at home when he was so bad we ended up rowing with the Fax fans over who he was bad against most. Isn't he?

To be honest I think we should be more concerned about our own performances than how York are doing.

I cannot see York beating us, cougars by 10. Will be interesting to see what bookies think.

York have put in some good performances so far, so it depends on the reasons for the blip against London.

The result will partially depend on what both coaches want from the game. They obviously want to win, but how much will they also want to experiment?

IMO the game could go either way and form in these sort of games is not necessarily and indication of how we will play when ther "real" season starts.

Another factor is Skolars appear to be a far better team this year.
Well drilled and organised. Not only did they hold York to a draw but also
held them up at the line numerous times. There defence is very good.

When we face Skolars this year we should not underestimate them.

I think the above is a more likely. Although I would love to have put it down to York crapness, but I feel on this occasion Skolars are improving.

If fthat ref against Fax WAS Turley, he should be ashamed of himself. No doubt he will make a public apology over the tannoy for his appalling performance, and for turning what should have been a cracking good friendly derby game into a massive argument.
