Anyone get the feeling the RFL dont want keighley in the championship. First they ban Barry from playing for no reason, now they appoint the referee who screwed us this time last year.

Getting the excuses in early

He may have had a bad day at the office last year but if we play to our potential and muscle up in defence we will win and the referee could be anyone from Noddy to Gordon Ramsay and everyone in between and it wouldnt matter a jot. If we lose we werent good enough and we try again the week after.

We've just not to give him any excuse to blow his whistle.

There's been games this season where we've given away a ridiculous amount of penalties, especially for offside.

We've got to be savvy, if we find the ref's keen on his 10 metres, stand behind his mark.

And lastly we must not get involved in anything York try to lower us to their level, it's asking for trouble.

Just a thought if Barry abuses the officials from the stand would they ban him again and make sure he is sent to banned stand in Cliffe castle

Fortunately (or unfortunately - depends on the way you look at it) March's appeal against his 2 match ban was dismissed and he won't be playing (according to the Yorkshire Post). Any updates?

It was nothing to do with the ref.
It was more to do with Brendan getting injured and us not being good enough on the day.

Anyone blaming the ref really isn't seeing the bigger picture.

As long as the the changing room he uses is nice and clean and a good selection of biscuits for him. We will be OK.

having watched both teams in recent weeks I think you may be in for a shock.....even without March and Ian Bell I think they will have to much for you but should be a good close game.
