Quote: old boy cougar "my previous post was a little moan but i was just clearly helping fans that are thinking of buying tickets for the stand, which nobody has mentioned. all i am saying is how can you sell something you can't deliver on, its ok saying this guy is trying to promote the club, he is doing all this good work for NOTHING and he is trying to come up with good ideas.
now surely if you have a vip bar that only holds im guessing 70ish people and a stand that holds 400-600 folk then how can you promise these people a ticket that includes the vip bar. after what seems another great idea by the club is just going to be another f and one that could potentional cause an horrific accident when fans are trying to get into a bar that is packed and not forgetting the small staircase to it.
we will only have a bad name after the game as i am sure away fans and even our fans will feel ripped off once again when they can't get to the vip bar and as the chairman states rub shoulders with the stars.
this cant do us any good'"
By eck, Old Boy, your glass really is half empty isn't it! One of the finest RL teams in the world is coming to Cougar Park in less than two weeks' time and it's all doom and gloom. It's going to be a great day! As regards pricing, with the exception perhaps of having to pay £20 to get a child into the stand, I think it's a bargain. £15 to get into the ground when a normal league game is £14; what's to moan about? An extra £1? I'll be there 'with bells on', nowt's going to keep me away. I'm convinced the Warrington fans will go back to Lancashire (yes, Lancashire is their proper county not Cheshire!) with a great impression of our club, just like they did last time they were over and got a right game!
