Quote: Stealth Comic "Because if you believe many on this forum, the definition of being a good fan, true fan or supporter means that you must be a subordinate to the club and the cliques at the heart of it and therefore abide by whatever decision they make, without showing any dissent, even if it goes completely against your principles.

I've never gone for the "good fan" line but I will pull you up on one point - there is a massive difference between adding perspective to a debate than being "subordinate" or part of a "clique". If fans come on here venting their spleen about what's wrong with the club, the coach, player X, or whatever then there will always be someone with an opposing view.
If a person cannot [itruly[/i look at an argument from both sides and sometimes admit they might have the wrong end of the stick then they are lost. Incidentally, that's just a generalisation and not aimed at you Obeone or anyone else.
Quote: Stealth Comic "I consider Obeone a good mate of mine, we've been going to games together for a fair while. [sizeI can honestly say when he's there he makes 10 times more noise than 90% of the fans at games[/size, likes a few beers in the bar and is an all round decent bloke. He's the kind of guy the club should be wanting to keep coming down to the place every fortnight but he's alienated to the point that he doesn't want to come anymore. It's a real sorry state of affairs and the club doesn't seem bothered to ask the question, why?'"
You're making him sound like a better fan than the rest of us
Sorry, couldn't help being flippant
