Its nearly the new year and still no statement from the former chairman which whilst not suprising is a disgrace.
Lets assume for one minute payment was made regularly to the taxman up to the non payment period of say for arguments sake December, this would mean that the bill of £180k was larger to start with so how the hell did it happen.
I think the ego of Mr Spencer must be big because there does not seem to be any remorse that I am aware of, it puzzles me how the rfl system works regarding directors of clubs that went into administration as I see it by allowing this it gives the impression of rewarding what is ultimately failure.
With Mr Spencer staying on the board to me it tarnishes the efforts of the new board before they get started.
I would hope the situation is clarified and that Mr Spencer explains what happened and not pass the buck to someone else then graciously resign from the board to allow the club to move forward as it cannot at the moment!!!!!!
