Was in the papers he has split from his wife and she is getting nasty about him seeing his kids etc.
Personally not good but for his darts could be perfect as could be just the reason he needs to settle over here and play on the circuit full time and if he does boy will he race up those rankings as on pure talent and ability he puts most of the higher ranked players in the shade.

Ive missed most of the first round matches due to work but i did read the write up on Sky text and it sounded like he had a stormer , 103 average too. I fancy Whitlock to make a big impact with the PDC next year.

There have been 2 or 3 real top quality games so far and that was one of them, bodes well for the matches after Christmas as Lewis, Whitlock, Anderson and Part especially look very well prepared and might not take out a Taylor but could well rattle the likes of Wade, King and Barney.

Anderson v Baxter in the next round could be a cracker. Doubly so (sorry) as they can both be erratic on the doubles but throw some quick high scores/ shot-outs.
Lewis & Part are on Taylor's side of the draw. Should they each get through it would be Lewis for Taylor in the quarters and Part in the semis, I think.
Could be King v Part in another quarter-final from that side of the draw.
Anderson is on Wade & Barney's side of the draw and could upset one or both of them as long as he gets more consistent on hitting doubles.
Whitlock's that side of the draw too.
Current betting is -
1/3 Taylor
8/1 Wade
10/1 Barney
12/1 Anderson
28/1 Lewis
33/1 T Jenkins
33/1 King
Do they do each-way for getting to the Final?
If so there's value on Wade, Barney or Anderson but I can't figure out which one it'll be.

I was happy with getting 20/1 for Terry Jenkins to be a bridesmaid again

GOLF????
1/4 the odds and you have to be in the first 6 in a field of 150+ (dead heat rules applying could make it even 1/8 or worse if the field is grouped together at the end) ????
How is that any sort of value?????
1/2 the odds on Barney (10/1) or Wade (9/1) for the final is better value than any golf tournament or horse race has ever ever had.
Each way betting is for wimps but is more credible in knock out contests where you get 1/2 the odds on making the final than in most other betting markets.

Never done it at the Worlds though and think Mr Consistancy will need a bit more extra kick this year to make it through.

I dont usually but at 40/1 to win with 1/2 odds to be a finalist it was worth a couple of quid.

Not knocking it as he is always there or there abouts but I think a few players have really prepared well for this and if Terry is one of them who knows, massive fan of his so would love him to do it in this (or any other tournament but has he that killer instinct that might be needed a few times along the way...hope he has).

I don't bet golf mate but most of the credible golf tipsters I have come across can rule out 75% of the field anyway. Plenty of value in an e/w golf bet - not so in Darts IMO. You wouldn't take 2 places on a 32 horse race, so why would you with darts? Sure, you can rule out plenty of players but getting into the final is difficult to predict. I'd sooner back outright with view to a trade. But then again, I never bet on outrights.

He did not play that well to be honest but he came out to Slade Merry Christmas Everybody
McDine v Bates would be good today in the battle of the limps, they might need the walk on girls to help both to the board and back

| Mervyn King 0-2 Co Stompé
Stompé has been nothing short of fantastic so far taking all 6 legs in the match hitting 3-180's & 5-140's, I think the 1st Set was taken in 11,13, & 14 Darts...

Thought he was going to blow it but fair play to him he did not buckle and a well deserved win.

He's too in awe of Phil Taylor and he will not produce the darts he has so far if and when they meet in the quarter final.

| Very underwhelmed by the whole tournament so far. Obviously could easily because of it only being the early rounds etc but I think Darts has changed too much for my liking over the past 5 years - can't stand it being in Alexandra Palace either

| Part is playing absolutely terrible this afternoon, with some other players against him the match would be over already.
Shepherd 3 - 1 up.
