Having another great season isn't he. I'd love to see him at another club. He's influential at Liverpool there is no doubt and he can put in some dynamic performances. But stick him in at Barcelona and would he be up to it? It'd be interesting to see.

On a more positive note Dossena played much better than what you come to expect from the average Italian. There was nothing on todays game but defeat still hurts like hell.

Without Fernando Torres we're nothing but a mid table team, playing mid table style football e.g. no spark, no technical passing, no speed in the passing, no creativity = nothing!!

What saddens me the most is that Man U can sign some unknown frenchman for 3 million (Obertan) and he shows more skill and abillity to set up a goal (vs Wolfsburg) than i've seen ANY Liverpool Fc Midfielder do this season.

The same can be said of almost any player when you take them away from their side, what an idiotic comment to make. Would Xavi be the same player playing for Liverpool that he is at Barcelona playing in la liga? Would Messi be the same player he is playing for Chelsea instead of Barcelona? I doubt it, it doesn't make him a poorer player because of that.

Gerrard's season has been poor by his own world class standards, he's had a few injuries and the team hasn't settled so it's easy to see why he's not been as good, but we aren't getting better. Benitez has said some very strange things in the media lately, even I'm baffled.

Jamie Carragher is not the player he was, infact he's been nothing but absolutely shocking this season.

Wizard, Aquilani has barely played yet. He can't be regarded as one of our first class players yet but you can't just rubbish him and put him alongside the likes of Lucas and Babel.

Things are going poorly at the moment, you won't get me arguing that, our CL campaign has been an utter embarrassment, four goals scored, only two clean sheets and three losses is as bad as it gets for us, you can't even blame the Yanks for this because I'm pretty sure our squad is dearer than Fiorentina's/Lyon's and our wage bill is higher, which seems to be the be all and end all according to Paul Tomkins.

We have massively underperformed all year, anybody denying that is lying, this season can only be regarded as a massive failure so far and will probably be regarded as that come May. However, I do think we'll finish in the top 4 and, with a bit of momentum behind us, win the Europa league.

Hopefully you're right. Some good teams in the Europa league thou. Wolfsburg, Juventus and Shakhtar Dontesk would all be hard. As for the top 4 in the Prem - City have only lost 1 game all season and with January fast approaching the cash is already being withdrawn from the bank. Apparantly they're close to signing Phillip Lahm in January (quality left back).

City could do me a massive favour and offer Sol Campbell a contract if they like.

I know who Lahm is and I honestly believe he's overrated. He's a good player, quick and agile with a great engine, but I feel he's weak defensively and his attacking game isn't amazing. Would be good for them, though.

City is slightly worrying but we're in a decent position considering the shambles of a season so far, generally, we start to hit our peak physically around January/February which usually results in our best form, hopefully nobody big leaves in January and we can seal a top 4 place.
