Great darts from Whitlock tonight .

Needs to base himself over here and really push up those rankings by playing (and probably beating) top class opposition week in week out.

He's good now so how good he could be playing on the circuit regularly is anyones guess but he surely could do what King has done since joining the PDC.

He needs a sponsor so he can play more on the PDC circuit. Apparently , He's got something lined up for next year.

Makes sense, it would be nice if he could get a package together as he is a quality player.

The Grand Slam just gets better and better and I can not remember a tournament producing so many classic games in such a short space of time.

I think some PDC players will be starting to worry about a merger as they could do with the likes of Waite and O'Shea staying exactly where they are and only have to worry about facing them this week every year.

Not quite sure how it will work (especially in relation to the World Championships) but knowing Martin Adam's hatred of Barry Hearne and the PDC I wonder if he would get involved in any new set up or just quit the sport.

Another cracking game again between Anderson and Waites. I think Waites has a great chance of becomming BDO world champ ,if he takes that form with him to the Lakeside.

It could be the best Lakeside for years as Adams will be strong, Hankey more at home there. Waites and O'Shea confident after the Slam and Fitton wanting more plus others looking to get to the semi's at least and have a shot at the Grand Slam.

Scotty 2 Hotty into the semis tomorrow afternoon. Fantastic 16-13 win over Whitlock. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in the PDC soon, he's a fantastic darts player. Will play Jenkins next after he beat the Thorn 16-9.

Should be a cracking evening session. Would love to see O'Shea beat Taylor.

He has age on his side so would be the most logical choice to defect.


To be honest anyone to beat Taylor to a title would be refreshing.

He looks pretty unstoppable in this sort of form.

Could be a classic v Barney but will probably see him going back into his recent slump and yet another Taylor stroll.

I want O'Shea to win it, always liked him.

I think it would be very hard to find anyone who did not.

Think he is going to be in even more demand for exhibitions and promotional events after this week and fair play to him for that.

I really like Jenkins he reminds me of an old feller thats always playing at the local working mens club near me, looks so effortless the way he throws but with great results!

Just goes to show the quality between the PDC #1 ranked player and the #2 ranked player.

Same old story, whenever anyone comes up against Taylor on TV they haven't got the mentality to challenge him or keep up with him.

I hope Scott Waites beats Jenkins and then thinks "I've got nothing to lose here" and goes out and gives Taylor a game.

You could be right, if it did happen it could be the making of Waites but honestly I think Jenkins to win by 6 or 7 legs.

If Waites can keep somewhere near with Jenkins , Then he has a chance as Jenkins does have a tendency to "Wobble" in big games.

True could be a good one and I think the better Waites does the more tempted he will be to cross over because if he makes the final that is his next two year's Slam invites in the bag, cash to set him up as a pro and the confidence that all that would bring (and a good Lakeside and even more so).
