Halladay was a bit more than good yesterday. 14ks, complete game (again) and despite being over 100 pitches after 7, he came back in and struck out 5 of his last 6 outs. Threw 133 in total and his 133rd pitch was just as good as his 1st. I think remarkable would be more appropriate.





You got a great deal when you sacked off Manny for Bay last year. I know the Canucks would love to see him at the Jays.



Wondering what the deal is with Papi. How can such a great player just seemingly lose it. Any theories floating around?

How long has Halladay got left on his contract?Do you think he would ask to go to a contender soon if the Jays don't look like they can take him to a world series?

2010 is when its up, i think maybe by trade deadline next year, if we arent in contention, he will be a deadline day deal....

Poor Casey got knocked about a bit last night. I suppose it's to be expected that after such a long lay off there'll be a few bumpy performances. I'm sure Aarnsberg and the rest of the coaching staff will straighten him out.



Jared Weaver is fast becoming another pitcher I hate playing against.Not sure why Cito didn't throw Inglett into the mix for Millar when it became evident that only lefties were hitting off Weaver.

Another headscratching pithcing decision from Cito, leaving League in for the 9th. Saying that, we should have finished this game off in the 8th when we had bases loaded and no outs. 1, 2, 3 spots letting us down.



One bright spot was Adam Lind who went an impressive 5 for 5 yesterday. He also went 3 for 4 the day before and has now teid a franchise record for consecutive hits at 8. Hopefully that means a return to his early season form. Shame Scoots, Hill and Rios couldn't hit for yesterday or we'd have walked that game.

Level standings now just a shame we have Wakefield on tonight, he hasnt been so effective last few games but they do have Wang on so there could be a lot of hits tonight.

Hopefully the knuckleballer will fook up their bats like he seemed to do to ours. I know that Adam Lind commented on how Wakefield really messed him up. Fortunately he seems to be back now.
