| Looks a tough card tomorrow, but one sticks out for me and Ive been waiting for her to run this year.
Sweetie Time, in the last race. Trained by Michael Bell, Hayley Turner gets the leg up. I heard some glowing reports about her befre her debut last season and she managed to get a win on board. Was told again that she had done well from 2 to 3 and was one to keep an eye on this year. She wants some cut in the ground so hoping for a touch of rain overnight please, but anything abour 8/1 I'll be having a bit each way on to see how she goes. Will have to back Emmas Gift at fancy prices and do a reverse forecast too as the wife will kill me if I didnt back her !

| Gutted. Flipped a coin to decide between Canford and Goldikova unfortunately I flipped wrong. Small time betting for me the rest of the way.

| Andy M;
place laying 2 odds on horses in a 6/7 runner race is a normal bet for me. Lay both to win a ton each, 1 loses then a profit is shown.

Can get a best price of 25/1 about Sweetie Time at the minute - as short as 14s in some places.

| One for tomorrow, hardly have to search deep for it but I'm finding it hard to see it beat - Shumoos @ 5:00.
Beat Frederick Englels by 4l who won quite impressively today quite easily last time out at Haydock and there is much more scope for improvement today I think. Tempted to have a small saver on Fire Lily, form was boosted by Powers win today having been beaten 4l lto also.
Had some on at 5/4, also tempted to double up with So You Think as well. Think it's going to go off odds on tomorrow.

| Start Right @ 9/1 EW 5 places in the Hunt Cup
They never were going to win last time out, with the extra 5lbs that comes with it plus that run will put it right on track for this.
Took 14/1 EW on Strong Suit before to go with my 4/1 place bet.
Just too big a price on a horse that could be alot better then he's shown this breathing op could just do the trick and Hughes an Hannon think alot of it.

Hard to get on at work, but I'll try and snap the 25/1 up when I get home. I think thats a great price, but then again I thought the same about B Fifty Two earlier !

Same here.
Watching Shumoos debut run was very taking. Struggled to get a run, was very keen, switched left right and centre and still won flying away.
Considering a very big bet on So You Think.
The first race looks extremely competitive. Codemaster won very well on reappearance but faces plenty of better horses here than he was against last time. The Noseda horse could go close, still very unexposed and when Johnny Murtagh gets the leg up for Noseda they usually go close. Phil Smith (the BHA Handicapper) is very keen on the chance of Havane Smoker. Ran well for a long way in the French Guineas and this 7f will be exactly what he wants. Fury has always been very highly thought of, and (as said) Strong Suit had some very good 2yo form including winning the Coventry. Not much can be ruled out.
Would like to see Seta win the second as I've followed her since her 2yo campaign. Can't really look past the favourite here. Sajjhaa has always been highly rated. Chased home Midday at York last time and that is probably better than anything else on offer. She also had Music Show behind her at York (may have been too far for Music Show though) and finished in front of Timepiece (won a listed race at Warwick the other night). Always has looked a filly capable of going on to better things. Lolly For Dolly should be in the shake up too.
Can't see So You Think getting beat, AOB apparently thinks he could be as good as anything he has ever trained. Only real danger IMO is Planteur, who has an electric turn of foot and looks much improved at 4. Twice Over has a few questions to answer now and the sands of time may be catching up with him at the top level, looked to be more than the inadequate trip that beat him in the Lockinge. This will probably be too short for Rewilding and he will use this as a good prep for a group 1 12f race over the summer. Can't see the rest of the field doing anything. The smart Jan Vermeer will probably blaze a trail to ensure SYT gets a truly run race and not a sprint finish. Debussy is usually fairly handy, and can't imagine Twice Over being too far off the pace - probably in similar position to SYT and Planteur. Rewilding and Sri Putra probably the back markers. SYT to take up the running kicking for home and fend off the fast finishing Planteur.
1625 looks an absolute nightmare, no particular preference. If I had a gun to my head I'd go for Super Say. Up the weights yet still fairly unexposed. Got a claimer on board which could help in such a competitive race, handles big field handicaps and has a decent draw.
Shumoos looks the one in the Queen Mary. Absolutely hacked up on debut after being all over the track and not getting a clear run. Meehan usually does well with a good juvenile too. Form received a massive boost in the Windsor today.
Rhythm Of Light looks good for the last one. Just failed to get up over 7f at Haydock last time out, going down to Western Aristocrat (well fancied for the Jersey). Tom Dascombe is in good form and she should give a good account.
Tomorrows picks (3/6 Tuesday)
Western Aristocrat
Sajjhaa
So You Think
Super Say
Shumoos

| Wonder if they every gave any consideration to giving Steven Arnold the SYT ride? won lots of group ones on him down under and has rode the Ascot track before.
Still, if RL is available not many other jockeys get a look in.

| 3.05 Music Show 9/1 EW
Backed it at 10/1 when winning the Group 1 Falmouth Stakes because I thought it was overprice and am keeping faith here, she was a Group 1 horse last year with form of 6341234 in that company running to a best of 119 this is a Group 2 race and while shes not been at top form this season she could easily win this at her best.
Quote: She'll take her chance and I've certainly not lost faith in her after disappointing at York last time. We've freshened her up and she's in great form at home. She obviously took a while to come to herself but it's the obvious race for her and she'll be my biggest hope for the week. "MUSIC SHOW runs in the 3.05 Windsor Forest Stakes (Group 2), 1 Mile

5.35 Cape Dollar @ 16/1 EW
Was pointed out yesterday how Stoute has very few runners here and this is his only one today, she has a real tough ask being top weight in this but its fair to say the yard expected her to be better then her OR of 103 she was 3rd in a Group 3 last season before winning Group 2 Rockfel Stakes, started the season hot fav for the Fred Darling Stakes but came 7th, last seen coming 12th in the 1000 Guineas which looks bad on paper but pretty much everything infront that day has come out and run well.
Todays bets.
2.30 Strong Suit 14/1 EW and 4/1 place
3.05 Music Show 9/1 EW
3.45 Waiting on So You Think for 10/3 treble
4.25 Start Right 9/1 EW
5.35 Cape Dollar 16/1 EW

| 5.00 Best Terms - 13/2 EW - without Shumoos
Was looking for abit of value in the race with Shumoos being a short but worthy fav I think I have found it in the Hannon runner, she's won two races already before her second birthday, last seen winning at odds of 1/4 as expected she won on the bit bar a slight nudge, the horse she beat that day was Dijarvo who has since won a Listed race over in France, she would need to improve again but see why she couldn't place or chase home the fav here.
