Yes, another instance of qualifying being more interesting than the race. Button limping his way to the title. We haven't seen much of his Dad recently. Go figure.

Just rolled up in Sao Paulo today, been offered a ticket for Sunday for about £70, but I just get the feeling I'd be quickly bored standing/sitting somewhere away from the main parts of the track watching cars whizz past at silly speeds every few seconds.

definitely go, Im not as big a fan as I was in the Mansell days but I went to my first grand prix in Suzuka a couple of weeks back and it was fantastic

I was going to go if the guy who offered me a ticket didn't get any other takers, but there's a Venezuelan guy here in the hostel who spent 40 hours on a bus then 4 hours on a plane to get here in the hope of getting a ticket from a tout, so I think he's kind of earned a bit of a break as a genuine F1 fan!

Watched qualifying in a bar this afternoon, I've never heard such giddy commentary as the Brazilian commentator when he realised "Rubinho" was on a flying one, the bar went mental when he got pole, imagine a pub during the World Cup when England score - I think I'll head back there tomorrow.

Congratulations Jensen. Brilliant start to the season. Who'd have thought this time last year that Button would be World Champ this year. Once again Brawn works his magic in the Championship.





Seb Vettel needs applauding too, he's had a cracking season and will only get better.

Congrats to Button. At least he had a go today, and worked his way up the field. He won more races than Hamilton did last year, but it still seems a bit of an anti-climax somehow.
