If Ireland's partner had miscarried and they were both united in delusions and stupidity because of their grief, they do deserve to be cut come slack. But getting that slack should probably mean he keeps out of media storms which have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with him.
3 Citeh players decided to support Bridge with the Twilight inspired shirts. That means 15 players didn't. Then your manager chose to add further publicity to the situation by talking about it. Like I said, lame. |

Your assumption is incorrect. I guess you are unaware of two other incidents that have taken place. This from someone who is an impeccable source - it comes from soneone who works in the FA for someone very senior. These were the real reasons why some FA bigwigs have always been against Terry being captain.

Yes, I am unaware of these alleged incidents.
But if John Terry has three alleged incidents of racist behaviour, and the senior members of the FA know this and have the details to back it up, why haven't they briefed Capello of these incidents and told him that they will not accept JT as captain?
The Tottenham sending off was utter bull. Why in hell would Graham Poll, Ledley King, your impeccable source at the FA and his boss, keep quiet when they clearly had the goods to rid him of his captaincy forever?
Capello has clearly enough ammunition to strip JT of the captaincy if he wants. If Capello decides enough is enough then I have no problem with JT being stripped of the armband. But it should be Fabio Capello who makes the decision. It shouldn't "senior members of the FA" who claim to know stuff other people don't. It shouldn't the Sports Minister, who should be told to go get a proper job in Govt. It shouldn't be dictated by scummy newspapers, who set out year after year to dig up stories to destablise England's players and management, especially in WC years.

Instead they supposedly create a lie, which is uncovered. So he lies again, which is uncovered. So he lies again, which is uncovered as well. Then he says his gf miscarried. Which I'd imagaine even the hardest journo simply wouldn't want to investigate and find out if it was true or not.

Wayne Rooney is massively popular right now. He was still massively popular after he managed to get himself sent off against Portugal for stamping on someone. But somehow he managed to not receive anywhere near as much negative press as Ronaldo was for allegedly getting him sent off.
When the English press can chose to blame Ronaldo when Rooney earns himself a red card, can their judgement and partiality ever be accepted? Are the stories about John Terry right now really because he is such a dispicable human being? Or is it because a group of journos don't like that he was chosen as captain over their preferred choice and have set out to dig up anything and everything they can to bring him down?
