| Jamison was decent. They made quite a few moves to put pieces around him.

Jamison was way past his best when he came, he's not a patch on anything Kobe's had either.
Mo was the best sidekick, but he went missing whenever it came to playoffs as well.
On another note, I am getting spanked in fantasy this week. Looking through the other matchups I'd be winning most, if not all, with 6 or 7, i'm losing 7-1 though!

| Jamison ws putting up very good numbers. Averaging 20 + 8 that season. Still done well since then. All-star as well.I don't buy the "LBJ" had no help. They traded for Ben Wallace, who was on the decline then. Still had Biz "Z", Delonte West gave them good play as well. Tried to give him help in the middle. LBJ took the easy way.

Considering buying tickets for the GB game. £210 for lower tier seats though And that doesn't include the £15 service charge either. Isn't it a friendly FFS?!
If I do end up going I'll get the cheapest ones which are a touch under £30 for upper tier, behind the basket seats.

Hey mate, check out immaturegamers.net it is a great gaming site and a few of us had a fantasy draft on NBA 2k12 just last night to start an online franchise.
There are still plenty of teams available if you want to sign up and all the lads who are playing are good guys.
My GT and username on IG is Hulldolfan, feel free to add me and join in the fun on IG.

| What trades are gonna go through?
Sessions to the Lakers, or Gasol + Lowry kinda swap. Only one I'm sure will happen.
Knicks falling flat again.

| What's going on with the Knicks Mark? They looked to be on a role with Lin just a few weeks ago, Carmelo comes back, Smith comes in and suddenly you're on a losing streak. I remember people saying 'Melo could harm New York's play, I thought it mad but maybe it's true?
Didn't get to watch the Clippers last night but they're definitely struggling of late. The hole at shooting guard is getting exploited, Jordan seems to be struggling for form (possibly fitness, think he's had the flu) and Blake isn't getting the looks in the open court like he was earlier on. Chris Paul is clearly good for them, but they're in dire need of a shooting guard to take on the role of scoring. I can't see the Clippers doing well in the playoffs this year, but if they can get an SG for next season, maybe Eric Gordon comes back? They will definitely compete alongside OKC in the West.

| Good win for the Celtics on the road at the Clippers.
The Rondo/Gasol trade rumours are pretty strong, but for us to trade a star like Rondo with the Lakers is like United selling Rooney to City. (No comments )

| Not a great looking deal for the Warriors imo, if they end up keeping their pick in the draft (if it's top 7 they keep it, otherwise it's the Jazz's) it'll look alright but it requires them tanking the rest of this season.

Having just got back from the US, I understand now why they call it March Madness - couldn't avoid the stuff, whether it be mens or womens.
ESPN had something like 12 games a day across its channels,

| Think Dwights making a mistake sticking in Orlando, they are just stuck with so many bad contracts that (barring a miracle) they aren't going to be able to challenge Bulls/Heat/OKC for the championship. He should have gone to the Nets knowing Deron was going to join him and go big.

| Great trade at the end there for the Clippers, Nick Young is a pretty decent player and goes into a gaping hole in the side, and they give up practically nothing.
Denver get rid of what was already looking a bit like a dud contract in Nene (if you consider Faried looking good), although they did get brain dead McGee.

I said the other day, the Clippers are a shooting guard away from competing. Whether Young is that guard, we'll soon see, but he'll be an improvement on Foye/Williams, his size alone will help.
Nene is a decent player but I don't think he was what Denver needed, Faried looks OK and McGree has loads of potential, much like Jordan at the Clippers, he has great athletic tools, but the brain isn't quite there yet. Not sure about Nene to Washington, will wait to see him in action before judging.
Can't believe Portland has got rid of McMillan, I've always had a soft sport for Portland, I've been gutted about their luck over the years (Oden would probably be the best big man in the league right now if he stayed fit, Roy was easily the second best shooting guard in the West), but McMillan has always kept them up there.

| Stayed up to watch the Clippers play Indiana last night. For me, they won't get through the first round of the playoffs, they're just too reliant upon Chris Paul to make plays for the team. If they had Billups, they'd be going against the Thunder for the Western conference, but he's injured and it's all too 'random' when they play. If Paul isn't forcing the issue on offense, too many players stand around, they don't pass it consistently enough and they don't get out and run the floor enough. Young looks a decent acquisition, but again, he's more of a relentless gunner like Foye and Williams, he doesn't seem to make plays for others.
When I watched them last night, Indiana's back court just had so much more versatility, everyone on the floor was scoring and hustling for rebounds, the Clippers just seemed to be taking pull up jump shots or hoping Griffin would gain something in the post. I'm still mixed on Vinny Del Negro, they're clearly better than last season but until they buy into defence completely, they will get blown out in the playoffs. For me, the Clippers' lack of consistency, lack of shutdown defenders and their over-reliance on Chris Paul to create plays, for me, is a recipe for disaster for the playoffs.

The clippers need a collective slap around the head. Im very unsure on Del Negro, I personally feel they need to get a new coach in the off-season and let them have a full training camp to work on things, though the reality is Del Negro will get that.

There are a few things that's really hurting them in games. They can't hit free throws to save their lives, and it's really costing them 'easy points'. Too often Blake, Jordan and Evans will just be dragged down or pushed out of the way, as most teams know they aren't going to hit 2-2. It's resulted in Blake taking more and more jumpers, as every time he's near the hoop it's a double/triple team and then a foul if he works out of it.
They clearly have a talented roster, but I'm already doubting this signing of Nick Young. They needed a savvy player, somebody who could shut down on defence, like Sefolosha of the Thunder, who would be such a perfect fit at the Clippers. Not only is Young a bit 'dumb' in his play, he's one of those players that makes play stop when he gets the ball. When the Clippers had Billups and Paul playing, they moved it so well, then when Williams came in, he was given the keys to score and penetrate at will. Since Billups has gone down, the passing has stopped, the post players aren't getting many looks and the bench is being woefully outplayed.
It's clearly a year too early for the Clippers, who I feel will probably end the year being knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. They desperately need role players, they desperately need shut down defenders and they definitely need Billups back next season. I still think LA should have gone for Ray Allen, but I guess the Celtics wanted too much whereas the Wizards were giving Young away.
