Strong Suit tomorrow in the 2.30

I have been taking the 4/1 on betfair for him just to place.

Strong Suit gives 5lbs away to most of the field which includes Oracle 3rd in the Irish 2000 Guineas, Havane Smoker 2nd in the French 2000 Guineas, UAE 2000 Guineas winner Splash Point plus two good home horses in Codemaster and Fury.

Strong Suit won the Coventry here last year before not running as expect on soft ground, so he really needs a dry 24 hours at Ascot, was expected to give a half fit Frankel a race over 7f in the Greenham and would at least of been expected to give a battle for 2nd with the now highly rated Excelebration.

Some can take upto 48 hours.

I opened a Betfred account at about dinner time on Derby day and placed my first bet immedietely and it was settled by about half two, but didn't receive the free bet til the next day sometime.

Placed my two bets for the day and walked away, and will not be placing any more til tomorrow. Lots of high class but messy looking races, so will only be backing two of the horses I tipped.

Predictably, Canford and Frankel (to contrasting stakes).

£50 Frankel and Goldikova double for me today...

Fancied the double but with my holidays coming up next Monday thought I'd try and limit any potential losses and go for two singles to contrasting stakes. Canford at 6/4 and Frankel at 2/5.

Only thing that can beat Frankel is himself IMO, hopefully Newmarket hasn't left its mark.

Still couldn't back against Goldikova and if I was there or betting big I'd be on Goldikova. Only got PP riding on this race and Goldikova is my selection. Surprised so many people are against her.

Well, thankfully Hughesie got it right. Excellent stuff.

Superb. What a run by Canford, didn't see it coming especially as expected Goldikova to hit the front first. Cityscape ran a cracker too.

Happy with that as got 8/1 Hughes top jockey, good start.

Why can't they show previous Royal Ascot classic races, or form of the horses that are going into the next race with some proper analysis and build up instead of this fashion show b0llocks.
