| Not a good display by Hull City yesterday losing 3-2 at home to Plymouth. Early indications show that we are going to struggle again this season, simply because the club haven't brought enough quality into the club. Plymouth were nothing but an average side and will probably be in the bottom half of the table themselves.
On the plus side Deano was the best City player on the pitch again. The only player who gives 100% and seems to enjoy playing his football, gives good entertainment to the crowd.

| An entertaining opener between two well matched teams.
Crewe finished as 2-1 winners at home to Brighton but the loss of Nicky Maynard with a suspected leg break spoiled the celebration. We await the official news on Monday on the extent of his injury.
The match could have gone either way and our 'charmed' woodwork saved us again on a couple of occasions.
Still a bit scrappy but as I said, entertaining.
Hull visit in the Carling Cup this Wednesday evening.

I must have missed Hull and Plymouth getting relegated.

| Would you believe it !
Nicky Maynard fractured his fibula in Saturday's 2-1 win over Brighton and will be out for 3 - 4 months.
Just what we needed , I guess we'll be looking for two strikers on loan now.

As for us, we didn't play well at all really, opening goal from a pen, not sure whether it was the right decision couldn't see it, despite a great start we didn't really do much after that, they had shot after shot after shot and i'm just surprised it took them untill the second half to get an equaliser.
We stuck at it though and a good goal in the final minutes by Davies.
Carlise next week, would be great if we could get a win there.'"
Definitely a penalty that, don’t know what the Swans defender was playing at he really didn’t need to get in front of Davies, Swansea had much the better of the game second half, great ball in for the winner thought.
Hopefully we’ll throw the game on Wednesday then we don’t have to worry about the Mickey Mouse league cup and can concentrate on the league.

No I had no plans to go, I think the competition is a joke when teams like Oldham and Doncaster rest key players for it.
I'll take my chances with the league and the FA cup.
If we get citeh in the League cup I'll turn up just to be part of the meet and greet team.

| Now we don't have to worry about any further participation in the Carling Cup we can concentrate on the league
With Nicky Maynard out for 3-4 months and Byron Moore stretchered off last night we are looking a bit thin up front.
Latest news is that Charlton Athletic striker Chris Dickson and Spurs striker Lee Barnard are lined up for loan deals.
The club are confident that the deals can be completed before the weekend.

| Jeez I can't keep up with this.
Chris Dickson (Charlton) has signed on loan. Lee Barnard (Spurs) is expected to sign on loan on Monday.
Crewe have accepted a bid of £300,000 for Welsh International David Vaughan from Chris Coleman's Real Sociedad side. He will fly to Spain this weekend to hold talks with the Spanish Second Division side before flying to Bulgaria for Wales' mid-week International friendly.
I hope Vaughan doesn't go to be honest because although he has been troubled by a lot of injuries recently he is one of our stand out players.
