After looking though Bilkos results archive There as been at least 10 Wigan players in the last 40 years that have performed well but have been bad apples.

10 Joel Tomkins


All the above had great potential but had a a bad side of doing bad things in the game or after there careers ended

I've no idea why you've put Skerrett in there ? Kelvin didn't have 'potential' either. He made it to the very top !

As others have pointed out not all of them were troubled.

Seems likely.

I know,seems strange that you would want to look at players that performed for Wigan and to look for problems in their make-ups.

Lets beat up more Wigan players past and present as no one does it better than a Wigan fan.

Look hard enough and you could make the same list for any super league club

Or indeed any other group of individuals in any other part of society.
