Really looking forward to seeing how Matty Nicholson goes, he's an outstanding young player. Astley is another interesting one, good feet, very quick but a bit "kick happy" imo.

Interesting decision and an interesting squad. I’m happy with it, I think we do need to just freshen one or two up.

Reckon the regulars who've been rested this week play next week and visa versa next week

Personally I'd rest Farrell and replace him with McDonnell and put young Nicholson on the bench.
I'd stick Shorrocks at LF and put Havard on the bench as per usual leaving Partington to start at prop.
This could be quite risky if Huddersfield play a decent pack but would give us the opportunity to give two young guns a run in the second row.

I'm sure that Peet and Co will get the balance right taking knocks and resting into account not just for this game but also for further on in the season.

Five rested is a little more than I would have liked, we need to keep the pressure on at the top.

Interested to see what Huddersfields squad will be like.

Would be nice to go top of the league Thursday night.

Off the top of my head glancing at their squad they’ve rested McGillvary, McQueen and Hill and Josh Jones is suspended.

Will be interesting to see how Saints react this week against Hull too.

Got to imagine Hudds will be in the same position as us bumps and bruises wise, reckon there'll be plenty of fringe players on both sides hoping to catch the coaches eyes even if it's just to make the 21 for the final

Both sides have good squads, so it sets up a good game. I actually think the rests might just sharpen the game up a bit. Lots of fringe players trying to fight for a final spot.

Been busy every since the short turnaround between Wakefield challenge cup into Good Friday.

Freshen up some bodies and give the opportunity for the players on the outside Miski, Oli P, Isa.

I would keep the 3 above mentioned in for the Hull game and rest a couple who play on Thursday (Farrell, Havard, French/Bibby maybe)

I’m interested to know if Isa has been getting left out or if he’s just not been fit. I’ve not seen confirmation of that anywhere.

Very interesting, senior player and one of the leaders but not played since Good Friday.

Won’t get above Farrell or Bateman in the second row or Ellis, Singleton, Byrne, Harvard, Mago or Smithies in the middle.

I'm hoping left out NK. He's dropped below a few in the pecking order and not favouring someone on name or reputation is exactly the sort of decision we need to see.
