A week off for KPP and Shorrocks for me. They’ve both done really well for us recently but a week off won’t hurt and should freshen them up.

On performance? I’m surprised because whilst he’s not exactly been rampaging, he has played better by his standards in the last couple of games.

We should have enough to beat Hull KR. They may be punching well above their weight this season but defensively and offensively aren’t that great.

No Marshall?

I wouldn't have Bullock and Clark on the field together either. Defensively it's a big no no especially with Parcell and Jez Litten being so quick from dummy half.

And we won't go with only one prop on the bench.

Tired COVID eyes skipped over Marshall, I’d have him over Hanley.

Shorrocks can fill in at prop. I rate him over Byrne. Bullock has been stepping up of late, though absolutely nowhere near where he should be. Clark also has done some impressive things but falls into that bracket. I’d be happy swapping 1 out for a Havard starting.

HKR have beaten us at our place and Lam will have to be careful with his squad selection. They will have their supporters putting all sorts of pressure on the referee and we'll have to be squeaky clean to avoid pens and set restarts. He needs to play his most experienced squad he can field and hope that we have a bit more about us than last time we played them. He also needs to look at himself as to why they won at the DW. His selection was poor and interchanges were beyond inexplicable.

My choice would be -
Hardaker,
Bibby, Isa, Gildart Marshall.
Hastings, Smith.
Clubb, Powell, Bullock,
Smithies, Farrel,
Shorrocks. Bench - Havard, Byrne, Clark, Field.

With the fixture list as it is we need a win on Friday, lets hope the two points head our way!
