Wolves Maul The Globetrotting Warriors
It was second against seventh as the Wigan Warriors travelled down the road to the Halliwell-Jones to take on a Warrington Wolves side who are struggling to hit any early season form.
Wigan had returned from their Australia odyssey last weekend and there was some question over their ability to recover in time for tonights game but Shaun Wane named a strong side in a quest for the two points.
Warrington sprang a few changes from last weekends win over the Widnes Vikings with Mitch Brown in for Matty Russell with Tyrone Roberts in the halves and Declan Patton relegated to the bench. It was a freezing night in Warrington as the two sides looked to warm their supporters. READ MORE ON THIS STORY...

Scoreline definitely didn’t reflect how one sided the game was.

True, seemed like Wire had 90% possession and territory, I know it won't have ended up like that but it certainly felt like it.
Not being able to put 30/40 past us tonight doesn't bode well for Warrington.

| Why should sky care if Wigan have shafted their fans and flown their squad round the world to play a "home" game then stayed on longer to play some meaningless exhibition game?
The first team squad should have been on the next flight home after the Hull game. Two points were chucked away last night.

| Warrington deserved to win, and if they were more clinical we would have lost by a heavier score. I feel that Wigans trip to Australia had a negative effect on the teams performance , i felt the trip was pointless and if anything it didnt do them any favours last Friday.
No matter how good or how fit the players are it is pretty much impossible to play at 100% when they just got off a plane 4 days prior to the game.
