I'll hold my hands up. I was one of the doubters. Now we know, I can only wish him all the best. As Stevo used to say "One tough hombre"!!!

Nice to have an explanation didn't think his performances were too bad myself. Hopefully he can have his 3 months off then rip in during the super eights and hopefully playoff!

You could tell there was something because the one thing Clubb will always do is get off the line and whack people and he seemed incapable of producing those sorts of efforts.

He's one of my favourite players Clubb so here's to a speedy recovery. Looking forward to watching him bash people in a few months time.

One tough hombre indeed!

My favourite player, if only for his heart. And that was before I knew what he'd gone through recently. :O I've every confidence that he'll be back later in the season and ripping in again. Hang tough, fella!

Amazing he could even set foot on the pitch. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Shame for the club but his personal welfare has to come first and I really wish him well. He's had a rough year with the neck injury and now having the kidney removed. Hope he makes a full recovery and it doesn't put a stop to his career. Be good to see him back for the business end of the season.

I believe there is an history in his family with similar issues so hopefully he will have a successful outcome from the procedure.
He is an infectious guy who adds an incredible amount to the team spirit and is liked pretty universally by all supporters when he's in his pomp so hopefully we will see the "real" Clubby when he gets back next season.

He's hoping to be back in 2-3 months. He said in his piece on the Wigan site that the doc has said that's a usual recovery time and all being well we should see him well in advance of the play offs.

Fingers crossed for him. He deserves some luck.

Just going off what I heard which obviously seems at odds to the official statement.
2 to 3 months at face value to me seems pretty miraculous.
Just hope the guy is ok. I like him on the field and the one time I spoke to him he was very engaging and a gent.
Rugby is important but health must come first so just hope all goes well for him personally and his family.
