RL Mole has supposedly tweeted that Cronulla fancy having it over there.
Interesting to see what happens. I think Wigan will probably go with that if he RFL agrees and the money is ok because they were talking of going anyway had they got beat on Saturday.

I'd prefer it to be at the DW. It's been good having the two Brisbane games over the past 2 seasons but we haven't had the main event at home for 6 years now. Be good to get a big crowd and hopefully it's 3rd time lucky in terms of recent WCCs! The St George game in 2011 was one of the best nights we've had in the DW, despite the result.

Interestingly Phil Gould said this morning that Penrith had been looking to play Wigan in Sydney in Feb but that was now off as we won the GF. Looks like we'd planned to do part of pre-season in Aus as we had Brisbane lined up as well.

Shame that, my cousin was over from Aus a few weeks back and I took her to the Wigan v Catalan game, she is a Penrith fan, so it would have been free board. Another cousins daughter is married to a Cronulla fan but I don't know if they are coming over. |
