Can someone remind me what the story was about him leaving Wigan?
From what I remember he was a real talent when he was here, real shame we let him go.
Turned out to be possibly the best sr in super league, shame for the lad that his season ended that way.

He opted for Warrington, Wigan didn’t “let him go” he was on a scholarship at Wigan but never signed professional terms and Warrington offered him a better deal.

From what I've read on here Wire didn't offer him better terms and it had nothing to do with money. They've done well developing him and it's a shame he's going to be out for a long time.

Ben Currie still has his character in tact. He obviously didn't do it deliberately. We have no right to take any moral high ground with late shots do we? He is a phenomenal player, him and Bateman easily the best 2 second rowers in the comp and a massive loss for England (and Warrington) hopefully he comes back the same player.
I bet Warrington have a very close eye on the middle 8s now to see if they can prise a second rower from a relegated club. I am hoping Huddersfield go down and we do everything in our power to bring Leroy Cudjoe here. With him, we would be unstoppable. He can bring McGilvarry with him too to cover for Manfredi

That knee was in no way intentional, it was an unfortunate accident. Ben Currie for me is a future star, he has everything and I'd be lying if I didnt look on Warrington with envy. Huge loss to England for the 4N but I'm absolutely certain he'll have full England honours in the coming years.
