How many players are we expecting to be banned for the semi-final after that then?

After todays match I count three citable offences who will receive bans:

Crosby for high shot.

Mossop for cannonball tackle.

Frank-Paul for little slap.


So despite getting our injured players back we could once again be short of numbers in the pack.

Is Sam Tomkins also a possible for his 'high shot?

Tackles off the ball happen all the time.

Tautai had his hair pulled by Todd Carney a month agao and got away with a warning so RFL clearly dont treat it serioulsy (if they are consistent). Plus LMS probably started it so cant blame FPN.

The ball was on the floor in someone else's hands in a tackle on the floor. It didn't come to LMS. HE was a few yards away and was hit.

Can't remember the Tautai hairpulling to compare but if they don't ban him for that at least there's some consistency.

FPN had a stupid few minutes and should be banned, but at least you see that.

I dont see what he will be banned for if the RFL show any consistency.

Hair pulling clearly doesnt warrant a ban as Todd Carney pulling Tautais hair was far worse and he didnt get a ban.

Jamie Peacock punched Leigh's Sarsfiled several times in the face couple of years back in the Challenge Cup (look it up) and he didnt get a ban at all.

Using these two examples as a sign of consistency and having thoufght about it more I dont think FPN should receive a ban at all. Plus he will have an early guilty plea anyway so im fully expecting to see him play next week.

Another wigan fan in denial. Funniest thing was Tomkins "standing proud" and begging for a penalty.

Sunk to a new low for me tonight. Twice he was running with the ball but instesd of looking for options he was appealing to the ref.

I don't think Wigan had a bad game really, they were right up there for at least 40 mins of the game cumulatively, they had enough domination in key areas to take it, but they're a blunt instrument, no cutting edge, so limited that they can't break decent defense with intimidation and aggression alone.
I'm not sure its a personnel problem either, they have players with craft and guile and individual match winners.....so I dunno
