| I've been a repeat subscriber from the very start but mine ends February.
Only the pre-season games make it worthwhile. The rest of the content is worthless in my opinion.
The highlights of the games are all on the Super League Youtube channel often quicker than they are on Wigan TV and this is free.
Other than this all we get are interviews which last 2 minutes each throughout the week and you can practically guarantee what will be said in each a good game on Friday/Sunday [Delete as appropriate]."
We usually get one coach and two players interviewed throughout the week and they never have anything of note to say. As I've mentioned, you can practically guarantee the words they will use.
We do get short videos of training and fitness in pre-season but these aren't worth subscribing for.
So, other than the pre-season games and the interviews when a new player is signed i dont see any of the content as anything worthwhile.
It annoys me that we have to pay for this when Leeds/St Helens/ Castleford and other teams have similar if not better content readily available to their fans for free.

What a dreadful thing!

| +1 - cancelled mine this year as well.
the disappointment to me is the lack of games from the junior setup.
thats what we miss out on now that they arent the curtain raiser to the main game, so i would be happy to pay to see the junior outfits games.
i go to all the home games, and listen/watch live the away games, so I'm not that fussed about the 1st team footage. no kids games, no subscription for me.

| I have got to disagree with the first few commentators. I agree with some of their worries but think that the benefits far outweigh the issues raised. I have always enjoyed the first team games even though they are on a delay. When I cannot get to an away game it is a great way to catch up. The U19s games are not hindered by being delayed because the scores are rarely shoved into our faces. In the coming year we will be able to see extra content from the reserves. I am not worried about content from younger age groups, especially given the issues surrounding the streaming of content containing children.
I do agree that some of the non-match related content could be improved but for a relatively low subscription I am not reliant on Sky, who I ditched a few years ago, and whose attitude to SL fans borders on the contemptuous. I will be sticking with Wigan TV.

| I think it's tremendous value - I don't miss many live games, home or away, but I still enjoy watching again (especially if we win...) - there always seems to be something on the TV coverage that one misses at the time, or even just a particularly good incident worth watching again and again. The highlights shown on SKY, SL or the Beeb are just frustratingly brief, for me.

| I like it, particularly in the off season I tend to re-watch my favourite games of the year and the interviews, although the interviewer they are using at the moment could probably do with a bit of training, (apologies if he's a Wigan EA student or something like that). Agree with regards to not putting the score on. When I missed a game last season I had to get the Mrs to set it playing so I didn't see the results and she said "What does 30-24 mean?"

| I actually think that its good value for money, it did have its faults at first but has gotten better and better. As Grimmy says its good for watching your favourite games throughout the off season and for catching up on academy games throughout the season.

Agree. I also like the interviews with Lenagan and used to like the ones with Mark Bitcon, but those don't appear to have been done for quite a while. For less than 70p per week I think excellent value.

| Two pre-season games that would have cost £37 in total have cost me £4.99. Absolutely no complaints from me. I don't always watch it throughout the year but there are some things that make it worth buying. I do like the interviews even if they are brief. The U19's highlights and matches are good value too.

| I enjoy the interviews with IL. I get to all home matches and most of the U19s/U16s home matches. I find WiganTV excellent for catching up on the away matches. It's excellent value for the money.
For the friendlies I connected my laptop up to the TV via an HDMI cable and the picture quality was excellent.

12150.jpg It's just WIGAN, nothing else. Get rid of that stupid nickname.:12150.jpg |

| I think the picture quality has improved? Have they done some technical upgrade?
Chromecasting it to the TV, last season it was blurry. Much better this season.
Matches like the friendlies and U-19s/Res games are much better when we have the full commentary from the two Wish FM boys, one of whom I believe does it for nowt?

| I've just been debited for the next 3 months but I'm 99% certain I'll cancel by April. I always thought it had the potential to be an excellent service and I've been a subscriber from the start but it's really stagnating now. Most of the content such as player interviews etc used to be free at the bottom of the homepage so I don't really think they are worth paying for. The IL interviews are ok but have become very samey. Highlights of non TV games are useful but as others have mentioned they are generally available elsewhere for free.
They started off doing preview shows before games with ex players and stuff like that but they soon went by the wayside. It's only saving grace is that it is pretty cheap but on the whole I don't think enough interesting stuff goes on there.
