Hi to all you Wigan fans. I am travelling from Gran Canaria to watch the 3rd Test on Saturday. I also have a ticket for my 89 year old father who would like to see what would probably be his last ever game of Rugby League after 86 years of xwatching the game. We are both lifelong Salford fans. Our tickets are for row LL behind the posts. I know that is very high up, and my Dad is pretty unstable on his feet. Can anyone tell me if there is a handrail up to the top seats or any other available assistance for the elderly. Thanks

There isn't a handrail I'm afraid but I'm sure a steward will help him up with you.

There is a lift for disabled/older fans which will take you to the concourse level.
That is about half way to the top.

Thanks JTB. With Hurricane Abigail on the way, I doubt that he will make it now. That means that there is likely to be a ticket available (concession) for face value of £10 if anyone would like it.

Anyone know if the South Stand Bar is open pre game? Thinking it might pay to get to the ground a little earlier (by taxi) for a couple of pints rather than walk from the town centre and risk a soaking.

Got told that the South Stand bar is not open to the general matchday fans. It's by invitation only from the RL I believe. Silly if true because the last time they did it like that there were less than 50 in there.
