Showed his class last night. Best forward at the club all season. Just shame he's been out injured for past few months. Aggression and direct play is what we've missed in our team ever since 'that' Grand Final incident. Very glad we've got him tied down to a long-term contract.

A very underrated player. I'd have him as backup in the England squad

Every time I've seen him play this season I've been impressed.

On a slightly humorous note, a few lads near us at the game gave a rendition of the Jacobs Club biscuit song but with the words:
"Yes he likes a lot of chocolate on his biscuits Tony Clubb" which made me laugh.

In the late 80s i remember we used to sing (to the same tune)
"If you like a lot of trophy's on your sideboard join our Club"
Oh happy days

Amazing how many, myself included, were totally underwhelmed by his signing......

If we can get more minutes out of him then the forwards will be more of an handful. It's good to have a prop who really hits in defence

He has great agility in defence for his size as well. He must have nailed Burrow about 5 times on Thursday. So refreshing when we have Mossop and Tautai who have slower feet than my 95 year old Nan.

He missed the one that mattered though.
