| All British starting 13 from Wigan last night with only one overseas player in the entire 17. 10 of these were club trained. Also after a conversation last night I got thinking about the amount of Wigan club trained players at other clubs - 16 was the number I came up with. Spread out across all of the SL clubs apart from the other two clubs with the best youth systems - Leeds and St Helens. Super League would be on life support without the Wigan youth system.
Huddersfield

| The majority of those players don't play for Wigan because they aren't to standard.

I think that's a fair point, and without sounding arrogant but I think it's true what they say in that once you leave a club like Wigan, Saints or Leeds then it's usually downhill in terms of quality. I can think of maybe one or 2 in that list who I wish was still playing for us and left to early.
The extent of his coaching is ''BASH EM, JUST F*CKING BASH EM. HE'S LOW ON CONFIDENCE, BASH HIM''
He's a limited coach that won't last long term.[/quote:8f22o6ue]
....
That would make Wigan strong favourites then. With Ratchford at FB and Patton with Cronk in the halves, I think we'll do very well without Sam.[/quote:8f22o6ue]: |

I would say only Hansen and Goulding would be valuable members of our squad. Hansen would have a fight on his hands that I am not sure he would win, Goulding would be an option in the centre's (and playing currently) whilst Thornley is injured.
The rest would have no impact on the Wigan squad whatsoever.

| Hansen and Russell for me
Cracking players, though i think only HH would be guaranteed a squad place.

| The 2 for me would of been Brown and Hansen, I think Brown would of fitted into our system perfectly over the last few years and was ruined at Wigan by Millward. Hansen could of done another 2 or 3 seasons with us.
