I thought it was brilliant! Just read Wane called him a 'weirdo' who does weird things in training every day.
If a lad can take a dump on a hotel table then charging a penalty down just seems pretty normal to me.

Worst outcome, another penalty and yellow card.
Best outcome, another penalty where the kicker is that bemused and put off he misses.
I don't see a real downside other than it looking rather silly.

I thought it was genius! Clearly the game was gone, why not do something as random as that. Really made me smile despite the inevitable that was to follow.
On the topic of Gelling if we could get those few daft errors out of his game and give him some service we could be dealing with a monster of a player for us.

Hahahah what? He has never cost us a game and has a decent try scoring ratio. He's prone to the odd stupid offload but he's still better than 80% of SL centres.

What does it matter? We got penalised, they won the game. I guess it gives the drama Queens something to whine about other than Ben Flower, thuggery, predictable play etc...
