Shame for the lad but deserved. To miss out on the WCC last year was a real shame and I'm sure he'd have been looking forward to playing in this but I doubt he'll get the chance now.
If Williams is injured it should be a huge chance for Hampshire to lay a market down.

How is getting a ban for a blatant banned chicken wing tackle a shame for the lad?? He was lucky he wasn't sent off at the time and risk a longer ban!
And an appeal over it is just a joke - what is the defence gonna be? |

What is the situation with Williams and his injury? I haven't seen anything regarding its seriousness or how long he will be out.
Sounded like nothing more than a precautionary reaction to a twinge in his groin on Friday, nothing serious at all.
