Going for 2 was insane as well. Limited chances in the game so we take a hard kick on at that stage?? Not like we had Pat Richards taking the kicks either.

Looking aside to the red card we still had a few decent chances and could have won. Credit to the guys for the effort they put in.

the flower incident aside, we ran that game for the full 80 and saints troubled us twice. Fair play to them and credit where its deserved, they took both their chances and scored and thats why they won

It would have been a very difficult pass to make. Faz was running at pace and Burgess looked to be covered by a Saints player. In that situation he did the right thing and kept possession rather than lose it. There was always the opportunity to go wide quickly and score out wide, which is what should have happened had Bowen made the right call.

Wigan best player last night by far , rarely seems to have a bad game imo .

Many of us have seen Wigan down to 12 before but I think that's the best performance by a Wigan "12" that I've ever seen. Every player gave his all!
Farrell was outstanding as were many others.
I looked on the Super League stats and some of the figures are quite incredible.
After that game and performance I'm not prepared to criticise any individual player.

I have just seen the stats myself and it shows that we made the metres, but we just made a few wrong choices when it came to the crunch. Farrell stats excellent. 117 metres and 39 tackles.

The metres we made with just 12 players was just phenomenal 1385 and again mostly from out three-quarters.
