It not, its more change for change sake and one more game without the 1st team on the park.
What about Thronley? Also injured?

Just read about Thornley out for 8 months. We need to sign a centre for next year!

Rested. He did say in his press conference that he'll be resting Bateman and Taylor this week.

So it's not changes for changes sake then?
Anyone who saw Taylor coming off at Widnes with 5 /10 to go could have guessed he wouldn't play this week.
The physio walked off with him holding him near the wrist/forearm like he'd done something to it or like they do sometimes when the shoulders popped.
My guess is wrist however from the way he didn't seem to be holding his shoulder etc.

He got up and put his hands to his face, I thought he took a knock to the head? The physio took him by the arm to help him off the field, as he walked along the in goal area he looked dazed.

I thought that originally but as he walked down the touchline you could see the physio holding is arm/wrist (Not like she was guiding/assisting him) but to kind of offer the arm/wrist some support.
When they got near to the dug out they were looking at it for a minite or so.
Maybe he put his hand/s to his head due to the pain in the wrist or maybe it was both?
He was deffo not looking good though?

| My team would be:
Bowen
Charnley
Gelling
Sarginson
Manfredi
Green
Smith
Flower
McIlorum
Crosby
Farrell
Bateman
O'Loughlin
Bench:
Clubb
Pettybourne
Tomkins
Powell
Wane has said he is resting Taylor (not in squad) and Bateman. I wouldn't rest Bateman unless he is carrying an injury. He seems to enjoy playing against Leeds. I'd also have Tomkins on the bench as he is not up to speed yet.

| The team re names in impressive enough but it's the attitude and intensity they play with which will determine the outcome of the game. That 19/17 is good enough to beat Leeds if the attitude is right. If it isn't then it won't be Wigan's game.
I thought Leeds were good v Saints and the red v showed how poor they could be last night.
We have to improve massively if we are to win and I hope the improvement is there for the two points.
