| I think Wane should be Knighted for his services to the game, he simply brings the best out of the side wether they are first teamers or u19s

| Letting that side score 4 is a disgrace - Wane out!

| Let's not forget that less than twelve months ago there were a sizable minority on here who wanted Wane out. He's done nothing / the League Leaders Shield doesn't count / he's changed our style of play from Madge / He can't coach as well as Madge / He talks too much to the press etc etc.
Up to the Challenge Cup Final he only had months left on his contract. I would respectfully suggest to IL (and of course it may already be in hand) but give him an improved five year contract NOW - fans of clubs who absolutely hate Wigan say that he's the best coach in Super League by miles, and considering the fine jobs being done by McDermott and Powell, that's some compliment.

| I'm a Wakefield fan and have nothing but admiration for the way Wane has performed.
He's worked his way through the youth system, assisted McGuire and has now stamped his own style and authority on the senior team.
His faith in the youngsters obviously allows them to grow another leg when selected and the philosophy running through the Wigan club is there for all to see when juniors seamlessly step into the first team.
I like his honesty, passion and pride!

And some of us took quite a mauling here from some fans who thought they knew all.... And yes I will keep bringing it up... The rise of the "happy clappers"

| Wane made mistakes in his first season as head coach but he has learned from those mistakes and then some, he is a better coach for Wigan than Maguire was IMO.
The best thing for me is I don't think he would be as successful at any other club in the world. The passion he has for Wigan RL can't be bought and couldn't be replicated anywhere else.

| I think he could come close to replicating it as England or GB coach.
I'd love to see an International pack of ours go out with the systems he coaches plus the pride and passion. That would be worth paying good money to see!
Mind you, Waney will have to wait his turn behind McNamara!!!!!!!!!!

| I can't see Shaun being happy to take on what is in effect a part time job and after a hard super league season the guy surely deserves a rest and a bit of time off and not have to worry about who he has to select to play for England.
I'd much rather he just stayed as Wigan coach for as long as possible and go on to be the greatest coach we ever had

| Some from other clubs see him as arrogant; I just think he wears his heart on his sleeve. It’s all a matter of different strokes, some call a spade a spade in public and shame the devil, others think it’s wrong and should be said behind closed doors, fine, I suppose it all comes down to what does the trick in the end and the kind of bloke you are, and what works.

Couldn't you say the same about the players? At the end of the day I'm sure he would be honoured to coach England, in the same way the players should be to play.
