| With us beating bradford 84-6 today i think that might have an input to the crowd attendance for the cup game on sunday i think it will be very low as if we can score 84 points against a suoer league team how many are we going to score against a championship one team

| Tickets are very reasonable on Sunday and they will need to be to draw an attendance.
As much as it's never good to see a superleague game as farcical as that, it was pleasing to look in to the future and see young lads like Hampshire and Williams toy with an opposition defence like that. They were both exceptionally good I thought. I've been particularly impressed with Williams recently. He's grown in confidence each week and looks a real threat with ball in hand.

| I don't personally think that today's result will have a massive impact.
Regardless of if we won or lost today the CC fixture, imo, is already a foregone conclusion.
For me there's just no excitement for the game. In seasons gone by you always had some intrigue thinking what youngsters might come in on debut. This season all of our exciting young talent have already played plenty of SL games AND proven themselves good enough.

| I hope Waney adds that bit of excitement by maybe throwing one or two of Gildart, Connor Farrell, Pugsley etc in.
Surely Farrell especially is due a shot!

| I think they will give us a better game than Bradford. I still think we will win of course but I will be going.
It's another chance to watch the team and despite the one sided nature of the game today there was lots to smile about compared to some of the other games against opposition we should have beaten easier than we did. Things "clicked" today and that in itself was good to watch.

What might interest a lot of fans is to play an halfback partnership that as been sublime in the last couple of years at under 19s level.
I do not think they have played together at first team level, apart from maybe in pre season friendlies.
All Wane has to do is pair Hampshire with Williams together in the halves with Bowen at fullback and Smith on the bench to cover for MM thereby giving Green a rest this week.
There is nothing nicer than to see a young half back partnership continue a development which showed a lot of promise at Junior level through into senior rugby.

Hampshire at fullback with Powell and smith in the halves and Williams on bench would be my guess for Hunslet.

| I spoke to a member of our playing squad earlier.
He described it as embarrassing for Bradford as we scored with absolute ease almost every time we got the ball.
Just to add, this was not said in a cocky "how embarrassing they are, chortle ha ha" way.
More that he felt sorry for them and slightly embarrassed at the same time
How the mighty have fallen eh?
Playing the Bulls at the height of Bullmania was about as intimidating as it got. They are so far away from that now, it almost defies logic.
Real shame IMO

I'm not sorry for their fans.
After one of the two Grand Finals we lost against them in the early 2000s, my grandson and I were unfortunate enough to spend 10 minutes in a tram with a great gang of them, and were subjected to the worst behaviour I've ever seen by any RL fans in any circumstance ever.
I'm sure that lot were all the sort of fair weather supporters who would have dropped the Bulls at the first sign of trouble and now don't even remember following them, but I will never forget the events of that night. The Bradford club all but disappeared in my estimation as a result.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

Mixed feelings on this... But i'm bloody certain they would have no sympathy for us in the same situation...

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| I felt sorry for them. They've got (mainly) decent, sensible fans who have suffered a lot over the last few years. No loyal paying spectator deserves to witness that kind of embarrasment. It was men against boys and the 'boys' wiped the floor with the 'men'. On paper that should have been a far closer contest.
The best thing for Bradford now is to go down a league and come back stronger. They're going to need a lot of patience and money though.

I have heard you mention that incident before and i would feel exactly the same.
I do think it a shame that a powerhouse of the SL era has found itself in the predicament it is in though.
The miss management must have over the last 10 years must have been boarding on the ridiculous.

We're still the team everyone wants to beat, so, no, there would be street parties along the entire length of the M62 if we got into their position. You only had to look at the mix of shirts in the north stand that had taken the ASDA shilling - Stains, Hudds, Wire & Leigh were all there & I'm sure I noticed a couple of Whinos coming out at the end of the game.
As far as the game is concerned, it [iwas [/iembarrassing (5live were saying that Red Hall are going to look at Easter fixtures to stop it happening - which can only extend the season). But isn't it simply down to the depth of squads, rotation & man-management that allows us to do that? It was actually a good run-out for some of the crèche & they were enjoying scoring for fun. We've got to have that mindset of "grind the opposition into the dirt at every opportunity", take no prisoners. As an exhibition match I really rather enjoyed it.

I'm sure it was an unfortunate incident but as a 17 year old kid coming away from Wigan on an official bus it was attacked by lots of youthful Wigan fans smashing two of the windows on the coach with cans of fosters and bricks! Every club has a minority of idiots

That's the thing isn't it, we were as inexperienced if not more so then Bradford. I looked at the scoreboard at 76-0 just as we'd scored our 14th try and saw Williams, Hampshire, Manfredi etc back slapping and celebrating and it really hit me that Bradford shouldn't be getting beat by that scoreline against a young Wigan line up. Our kids are the best in the country but they had enough experienced bodies in their line up to keep that score respectable.
Cummins said they never threw the towel in, I beg to differ.
