Isn't that the way GF trophies are always presented?
Took a while to assemble the podium though!
To improve matters I reckon they should get the presentation done as they do and then let the players take the trophy to the fans and make the press photographers wait. Not make the fans wait.

| They've normally been presented half way up the south stand and the winning captain makes a speech but they changed the format last night for some reason.

OK. I just have the recollection of the podium and pictures taken on it.

| I'm glad to be honest. The speeches are boring as feck. Especially when Sinfield does it... he loves his own voice though.

| I thought the presentation on the pitch was far better than when they went up the steps in 2010. Only problem with it was that those on the far side wouldn't have seen it.

Don't worry we saw enough to join in with the cheering of lifting the trophy and the players did walk over to our corner with the trophy (next to the empy Wire stand). The other benefit was being sat next to the sulking Wire fans - that was worth the admission fee alone, and to top it off all but one of the tries where scored on that side. All in all not a bad seat.

| Perhaps they changed it BECAUSE sir Kev was not making the speech.
' If it's not our Kev, fek'em '
Lets be honest, there should be someone of note presenting the trophy in what should be the best moment of the Super League competition. But yet again, Nigel Wood was there, with another bloke, perhaps his brother in law, or Hetheringtons milkman or someone like that, in the Leeds boys club.
Still, it did not stop our enjoyment of the result or the following celebrations.

The other bloke was Brian Barwick the RFL chairman

| Great isn't it
Where was the special guest ?? once more the fools at HQ think they are superstars
I would be starting with Royals and asking film stars, music stars, sports stars..... anyone to raise the profile of our game higher than a local park team game on a sunday afternoon where the teachers hand out the prizes.
We get the newbie at the RFL for the GF and CC, with no disrespect meant to the lad, a young boxer from Hull.
Small minded approach, again
