| I've been pretty disappointed with it on the whole tbh. The highlights are good if you have missed a game but there is no commentary and they often appear later than when they should. It's basically the highlights plus all of the interviews and stuff that used to be on the front page of the website for free. All of the preview and discussion-type shows with ex players hasn't materialised.
It's only a tenner for 3 months so give it a shot, but I think the club are missing a trick at the minute, it could be a lot better than what it is.

| It's alright but I've not used it as much as I thought I would, possibly due to the full games only becoming available 2 weeks after they are played. I've watch the highlights most weeks and I watched Wire (H), St Helens (H) and Leeds (N) in full once they became available, plus the odd interview/feature. I get bored during the off season though so I'll probably get my money's worth then. Even though the quality's been poor this year and we've struggled against top sides there's still about 10 games I'd like to watch back.

| That's brilliant thanks guys. I'll probably get the 3 months. It'll keep me going after the World Cup has finished.
That's class that there's full matches on it
Can't wait.

| The best part of the package for me has been the u19s coverage. Seen some real stars of the future. I have enjoyed seeing those away games that I missed. Will be renewing for next season, but I agree that after two weeks full game coverage is not so important. I have a preference the 40min extended highlights.

| Brilliant if you don't live locally I'd say and don't get to most games. I do both and have it and at points I wonder if there's much point. It doesn't help me having an 8 month old baby to keep me occupied though. I think the u19's games are brilliant and I'd have watched all those in the past.

| It's a great service on paper but the content menus are so full now it has become an absolute total mess to navigate round. That though is my only real issue though to be honest. Something I'd like to see tidied up and improved for next season. Maybe a search facility would help?
As for commentary - they should do a deal with a local commercial station and have their genius commentary on them. For a fee of course.

I agree re the tidying up and I suppose on the commentary
As as season ticket holder it works out at about 10p a day, and that is good value.

[quote="headhunter":lnxdgxk2]Union people are idiots. They almost universally accept that league is a better, faster game played by better athletes, yet for some reason they continue to disregard and belittle it. That game is tedious as hell from start to finish. If he'd ever played or even bothered to give more than a fleeting chance to league he would realise that the game is far more 'technical' than Union ever could be. Booting the ball into touch, scrummaging and forming rucks and mauls aren't areas that involve any skill, technique or mental capacity whatsoever. These are clumsy, outdated facets of the game that are also extremely uninteresting to watch and thus have to be defended in some way by people who are too prejudiced to see the truth.[/quote:lnxdgxk2]: |

It was great at first for me but dropped off quickly after the initial hard work - I think they were focused on getting subscribers early on and then lost impetus.
If the club want feedback they need to ensure games are put on when they should be for a start - ie/ the 40 mins on a tuesday now only happens infrequently, and commentry for all non tele games is a must!
TBH these are the two main reasons ive not used it as much as late...I used to log on every tues for the 40 mins but now dont know when it'll be uploaded so can quickly get to weekend and forget about it!
Commentry is a massive for me also and really is a must for the package....I realise this probably dropped off due to the cost of a commentator being provided by the club, but Bilko is saying EXACTLY what I said at the start of the season -
Why don't we just partner up with a broadcaster who does full commentry and marry the radio commentry with the video after the event? We could probably get this at nil cost actually with Wish FM or GMR - Just offer them advertising for free on the wigan tv site, in return for their retrospective radio commentries after the game? All needs doing then is match them up from the start, before the 15 minute and 40 minute edits are done?!
All we need is the first screen on each of the videos inserted with a 'Radio' sponsor name - If thats not worth the commercial value of a few audio commentries I dont know what is - Personally id think wish fm would bite the clubs hand off and hey presto....we all match commentry on all highlights for no cost to the club! Its a no brainer!
