Anyone have any information on Jordan James he's currently at the 19's game vs Hull KR in a Wigan training top with the coaches though not seen any info on him leaving Salford or retiring has he replaced Long and is it some sort of short term agreement with Salford to fulfill Longs contract.

I saw him there, and he was also at the U19 game v Leeds on Monday. I din't notice the Wigan training top though, I presumed he was on a scouting mission from Salford.

He did have Wigan gear on so no idea what role he has.

Yeah me and the lads saw him Monday and Saturday both times in full Wigan Kit. He may be doing his coaching badges with our 19's but its definatly him. Missed most of the game trying to figure it out lmao

Always gave his best for Wigan during the horror period and was a very solid player.

His background as a former royal marine will no doubt help him to fit into the coaching methods at Wigan!

Personally I thought he was massively underrated when he played for us.

he did have a great try scoring record or seemed to anyway. oliver wilkies was another one who i thought did ok to say he was in the deep end.

Maybe it's a Welsh thing!
Iestyn might have got him in as coach to help him in the World Cup.
We've a fair few now with Iestyn, Flower, Dudson, A Powell, Lloyd and Pugsley.
The club have a well declared view on Welsh recruitment so perhaps it's more to do with that than our own club issues.
